The owners of this spectacular 1934 home, which has its roots in modernism architecture, commissioned Vale Designs to handcraft a kitchen to complement its bold, rich history.

Novaestone Calacatta Veneziano
To honour the 1930s modernism movement that inspired the build of their home, the owners were keen to embrace clean lines, rounded edges, and softly painted bespoke cabinetry.
Every detail has been carefully considered to make the most of the architectural features of this beautiful dual aspect kitchen with views towards the River Alde. Crisp white high ceilings marry beautifully with the pale blue large kitchen island that is a real focal-point and wonderful social space.
Perfect for preparing food while entertaining, the expansive island features a small prep sink beneath a striking 30mm thick Novaestone Calacatta Veneziano quartz worktop.
Seamlessly positioned on the quartz worktop is a Novy Panorama induction hob with an integrated ‘Rise Up’ draught extractor that neatly slides back into place after use.
Behind the island is a row of tall cupboards along one wall to complete the minimalist modernism feel. The tall cupboard space is home to a larder cupboard, tall oven housing (with cupboards above and drawers below), and an integrated fridge/freezer. We even purposefully left room for the owners’ fabulous collection of flat caps and aviator goggles.
Waiting to be poured is a selection of wines within a wine cabinet, complete with two wine coolers, an expansive glazed display cabinet and a quartz Novaestone Calacatta Veneziano serving area.
