When the owners saw the beautiful blue and brown hues running through the uncovered illustration, they instantly wanted to inject the colours into their kitchen. The different tones of blue, clever accents of the Cherry crockery cupboard, and pebble cupboard handles are perfect.

The kitchen design was driven by the owner’s love of cooking and entertaining. As such, it features an impressive island that houses a hob, a huge butchers block and a prep sink. All are elegantly inset into an exquisite pearl granite worktop.
Being a superb cook, keeping fresh meat at the right temperature is a must for the owners. At the end of the kitchen proudly sits an in-built Sub Zero refrigeration system and wine cooler.

Everything has its place. The cherry crockery cupboard with its glazed doors and cutlery drawer is as charming as it is practical.

“It’s easy to say “they did an excellent job” – which they did. However we managed to present some unique challenges – like fitting a 3/4 Tonne fridge/freezer and having to build a special lifting frame just to get the American ovens in place. All of this was undertaken with good spirit. Their follow up has been exemplary, and we would recommend Vale Designs to anyone thinking of working with them.”
