This historic late 16th Century former manor house has been lovingly renovated by owners Rob and Amandine. Restoring the property from scratch, their new kitchen needed to be sympathetic to them and their property.

“We are so happy with our kitchen. Andy and his team are so professional, helpful, and always on schedule, and we couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend this local company.”
Amandine Dornton-Duff
Rob is from Suffolk and Amandine is from France and so they were keen to weave in French influences into the design of this Suffolk home. As a nod to the traditional French style, they chose a farmhouse sink and Lacanche range cooker.
Paired with these traditional French influences is a tongue and groove panelled canopy cooker hood, open shelves on framed brackets, shaker style cabinets, and tiny button cupboard knobs.
Reminiscent of times past is an in-built open larder and a bespoke wine storage area.

“When friends come over, they hang out in the kitchen while we cook and we can all enjoy a few drinks together before our meal.”
Amandine Dornton-Duff

A maple island worktop adds both light and warmth to the room and contrasts with the darker oak beams overhead. Keeping the design natural is a stone-coloured Yukon quartz worktop.
