While the kitchen was part of the extension, they still wanted it to be in keeping with the story of their cottage. They were keen to keep the design simple, elegant and light. Therefore, light hand-painted kitchen cabinet were chosen with small pewter knobs and a white granite worktop.
A tall floor-to-ceiling integrated larder cupboard offers this family a place for all their essential cooking ingredients.
To cleverly bring in the colour from the door to the kitchen and decorative tiling, the induction hob sits on a striking maple worktop. The central island includes a prep sink for washing fresh ingredients, is lit by two pendant lights, and seats two people.
