At Vale Designs we use the best materials and craftsmanship for all our handmade kitchens and furniture. Where many kitchen companies spray paint their furniture, we have always preferred to hand paint because we believe it gives a softer and higher quality finish.
Spray painting is often more brittle and cannot easily be repaired. It would need to be colour matched and re-sprayed.
Our kitchens are built to last a lifetime and hand painting allows you to easily repair the inevitable knocks and scrapes that happen over the course of time.
Advantages of Hand Painting over Spray Painting.
- Gives a softer and higher quality finish
- Easy to touch up or repair
- Easy to change the colour on location without the need for specialist equipment
It’s true that hand painting takes longer but we don’t believe in rushing things and prefer to give your furniture the same care and attention from start to finish.
We assemble our furniture, fitting all the drawers and hanging all the doors but then remove the drawer fronts and doors for hand painting in our dedicated paint workshop. This provides a temperature controlled, dust free environment and produces a neat crisp finish rather than trying to paint the installed kitchen on site.
We believe that the texture and quality of Vale Designs hand painting is one of the best in the industry and one which we are proud of. We offer a full design and consultancy service ensuring cabinetry, worktop, floor, walls, woodwork and ceiling colours all complement each other.
